A new bug in google chrome has been found which will crash google chrome. This bug was reported by Andris Atteka in his blog "A simple string to crash google chrome".
All you need to do is to add null character in input URL. He also gave example in his blog. If you want to test then just type http://x/%%30%30 URL and hit enter, you will see either your tab or whole chrome will crash.
